Arrive at Accra airport.
Met, assisted and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2:
Breakfast and hotel check out.
Depart after breakfast to Xavi in the Volta Region of Ghana. Do bird-watching on Lotor River where a great diversity of birds can be viewed whilst paddling a canoe across the Lotor River in the Westland of the Avu Lagoon.
Have a cruise on the Lotor River that provide a chance to observe local fishing practice, view beautiful and watch other wildlife such as the famed green mamba.
Experience village life and visit shrine and Boaba grove where traditional rites are perform.
Depart to Akosombo late afternoon

DAY 3:
Breakfast and hotel check out
Depart after breakfast for to the Central Region. Drive through several coastal village and towns and outskirts of Accra- Capital of Ghana. En route stop at Ramser sites including Densu Delta and Muni-Pomadze site, lagoons mud flats and grassland reserve and see common paleartic tern, royal tern, African pygmy-goose, western reef egrets, herons, yellow bishop, preuss’s swallows etc.
Lunch
Arrive and check into your hotel.
Rest of the day at Hans Cottage, built over a lake which contains Nile crocodiles and is teaming with birdlife including vieillot, village and orange weavers, night heron.
Rest of day is free to relax

DAY 4:
Breakfast
Depart early morning for bird viewing using the platforms of the world famous Canopy Walkway at Kakum Nationla Park. The park is one of the remaining vestiges of the rain forest in West Africa view several species as you walk at tree canopy level including green hylia, violet black hyliota, yellow bellied crombec, littlegrey flyscatcher West African batis,large billed puffback, black and white casgued, back dwarf hornbill and the preussus weaver, palm nut vultune, African Cuckoo hawk, banded snake eagle, cassins hawk-eagle and a lot more
Return to your hotel for lunch
Afternoon free for rest and relaxation or do early evening viewing at the Kakum Park

DAY 5:
Have an early morning site viewing on many trails at the park and see more birds and forest flycatchers.
Breakfast at your hotel
Rest of late morning at leisure or you may wish to visit Cape Coast and Elmina for conducted tours of the infamous castles.
Walk around hotel in the late afternoon and see bristle nosed and yellow billed barbet, yellow throated cuckoo, green crombec, kems longbilland copper tailed glossy starling.

DAY 7:
Early departure for Bobiri forest and butterfly sanctuary where you may have the chance to see several species you may have missed at Kakum and Xaxi including swamp palm greenbul, bronze napped pigeon, red chested cuckoos, green enjoy packed breakfast in the forest reserve.
Return to Kumasi by afternoon Rest of day free for Kumasi City tour.

DAY 8:
Depart to visit Owabi wildlife Sanctuary. It is a secondary forest surrounding a large water reservoir supplying the city of Kumasi and is a tranguil place with a great variety of birdlife and some interesting forest walks. Among the many species of birds is the noisy pied hornbill as well as herons and king fishers.
Lunch in Kumasi at a local restaurant
Afternoon visit to Ashanti Craft Village to observe craft men at work and to purchase souvenir gift items; Ahwiaa-wood carving,Ntonso- Adinkra stamping and Bowiri-Kente weaving

DAY 9:
Breakfast and hotel check out
Depart Kumasi for the Northern part of Ghana. Drive through the forest belt past several food producing villages into the transitional forest – to – grassland vegetation zone. Notice the gradual change in architecture, vegetation and human activities. En route stop to visit the Larabanga Village to learn more about village life in Ghana. Visit the ancient Larabanga Mosque built more than 500 years ago before you continue to the Mole National Park, the largest game park in Ghana.

After lunch, go on a late afternoon viewing of birds in the Mole National Park which is home of about 600 elephants, baboons, monkeys monitor lizards, bush- bucks, antelopes and several wild animals. Watch different kinds of animals in their natural habitat.

DAY 10:
Depart for an early morning walking tour or Safari of Mole National Park and it surroundings. Take your time watch the elephants, baboons, monkeys, monitor lizards, bush- bucks, antelopes and several wild animals. Watch different kinds of animals in their natural habitat.
Breakfast
After breakfast leisure. Relax by the pool with a view of the water hole observatory.
Optional: Visit the Mognori Eco Village and observe village life and share experiences with some members of the community. Go on a canoe safari on the Mole River. This safari is excellent to view birdlife along the river. Your guide will show you animal tracks and tracking techniques.

DAY 11:
Breakfast and hotel check out
Depart after breakfast on a scenic 6 hour drive to the Ashanti Region. Drive past several rustic farming communities and arrive early afternoon in Kumasi via a stop to visit the Kintampo Waterfalls, one of the impressive falls in Ghana. This Waterfall provides a panoramic scene and superbly displays the beauty of nature.

After lunch, continue to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
Rest of day is free to relax and enjoy a sundown drink.

Depart after breakfast to Accra. Arrive by early afternoon and continue to Sakumo Ramser site
