George Adjekwei Mensah
About George Adjekwei Mensah.
George Adjekwei Mensah graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Tourism from the Cape Coast Polytechnic in 2004.
He did his National Service with Ghana Tourism Development Company(GTDC) at the Assin Manso Tourist Receptive Facility. After successful completion of the National Service, he was appointed as the supervisor of the Facility popularly known as the “ Last Bath ”.
After three years of working with GTDC, Adjekwei resigned from the position of Assistant Travel and Tours Manager.
He gained varied experiences and skills working with tour companies within and outside Ghana on a full-time basis before resigning to further his Education.
In 2013 he obtained a degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Ghana, AUCC Campus.
Adjekwei Mensah has worked on many tourism projects to Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Nigeria.
He also worked with Minusma, the UN Mission in Mali as a contractor in the area of transport and logistics.
George Adjekwei Mensah is very knowledgeable and his in-depth knowledge on Africa- African American History is immeasurable.
About Gary Lee Bean.
Gary Lee Bean was born and reared in New Orleans, (USA) Louisiana
area. He earned his formal high school education from L. B. Landry
High School where he graduated on May 23, 1973.
Upon graduation, Gary held several jobs until he completed the
required training to become a professional transit driver in Houston,
(USA) Texas.
He continued his quest in the transportation field by completing the
requirements of a Certified Greyhound Transit Driver from 1979 to
1987. While working for Greyhound Gary developed knowledge of
tourism by accepting chartered tour schedules. However, his quest
was still not satisfied therefore, he enrolled at the University of New
Orleans where he pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering from
1979 to 1983. He also managed to take courses and work on electrical
jobs when he became a member of IBEW Local 130 (International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers). Gary started in the
apprenticeship program (the beginning) and accelerated himself to
complete the program becoming a Journeyman. (The culmination of
the program and have the experience and knowledge to work in all
facets of the Electrical Trade)
Gary has experience in transportation, tourism, building construction
and has also achieved the title of Certified Electrical Contractor. He is
Licensed in Building Construction and Electrical Work (commercial,
industrial and private facilities Statewide) (USA)
With the vast amount of knowledge Gary acquired over the years, he
decided to pursue the Electrical and Construction trade. Upon doing
so he was awarded several major contracts which he successfully
completed throughout his thirty years (30) in his field. Gary was also a
lecturer at Delgado Junior College.
Gary has always had a strong love for Africa and apart from Ghana,
which he now calls his second home, has visited other parts of the
continent on several occasions.
Touring the continent, he unquestionably chooses to personally invest
in the African Continent’s growth, utilizing his personal and
professional experience in the transportation industry.
This is why Gary believes Obuomo Link Tours is equipped in all areas

For this reason, he envisions Obuomo Link Tours to develop into the
premiere leading tour company on the continent and in the industry.
